DO NOT BUY FROM THIS EBAY SCAMMER

I had bought a camera from
www.gamblerswholesale.com and it was NOT AS ADVERTISED !!! Be very careful!! I do not suggest you do business with this merchant

If you had done business with this merchant please leave your
Comments

Before I purchased the item from him I did notice he had a lot of negative
feedbacks but I just ignored them and still went ahead and did the purchase, but
I regret doing so

If you are looking for the 9V Adaptor then click here

Usually when you purchase something through ebay, the seller will leave
you the positive feedback at first, then you would leave the feedback for the
seller after the item is received.. well this seller acted differently and
waited for me to leave the feedback for him to see what I am going to say before
he would leave one for me.. because he knows that I am unhappy with his item!, I
left him a negative feedback on Jan-22-06 14:56

Guess what! after he found out that I did that, he decided to leave me a
negative feedback as well! lol .. which doesn't really make sense, on Jan-22-06
22:16 he left me a negative feedback of something that doesn't make any sense
whatsoever, this shows that his feedback does not make sense.

At first when I emailed the seller, he ignored my emails. Afterwards, I used
a service called mail tracking from www.mailtracking.com and it showed me that
he opened my emails but he did not respond to any of them. I also wanted to
return the package to the seller. However, He did not respond to my last email
to where I should return the package to. Furthermore, when he sent me the
package he did not include his return address on the shipment.

Below you will find a copy of the email conversation between me and the
seller. The transcripts show that the seller gave me rude responses and that's
why NO ONE should do business with him. Some of his companies include,
www.nicheintl.com, Niche Marketing International,
and www.gamblerswholesale.com.
His name is Tom Gandey.

Hello,

I have sent you many responses but you have failed to respond to me and I am
very unhappy.

You had sent me this item but it is NOT as described, it is missing the battery
adaptor that is mentioned in the text of your item description as well as the
picture.

Are you going to send me the battery or should I ship the item back to you
through FedEx and request for a refund?

Please advise me ASAP. On what I should do.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Tom Gandey;

Your email shows how professional person you are!

on your ebay listing http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5840523240&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 it
states the following "Includes everything! Retails $199, bidding starts at only
$0.99, highest bid wins!

Complete wireless video spy camera kit including everything you need (world's
smallest wireless color pinhole camera, wireless receiver, all required cabling,
battery adapter, 2 power adapters and instructions). Easily hidden, makes a
great nanny cam. Brand New, factory sealed. Takes only minutes to install!
In-stock, ready to ship!."

Can you read what is says??? "all required cabling, battery adapter" , what is
that supposed to mean?? it means you are supposed to include the battery adapter
exactly how you had originally described it.

Now you tell me who is the loser!

#1. It is obvious that you are a loser devoid of a life.
#2. The auction says the battery adapter is not included.
#3. With all of your implied technical prowess, you are apparently ignorant of
off-site email hosting.
#4. You are also unaware that recent eBay email proceedural changes precludes
our responding to “Ask a Seller a Question” emails and are too ignorant to read
that you should email service@nicheintl.com to address such inquiries.

See #4. eBay changed the way they handle emails, they go to nowhere… Don’t like

And I also see the following at the bottom "You will receive the following:
world's smallest wireless camera, wireless video receiver with swivel antenna,
110v AC 8v adapter for the camera (you can operate the camera from battery or
the 8v adapter), 110v AC 12v adapter for the receiver, video cable (to your
TV/VCR) and operating instructions. Battery clip for the camera as shown not
included. Simply the best deal on the best quality, most-complete kit on the
market! Retails at $199."

But I do not see a message placed by eBay saying your auction was amended, and
you can't play games by promising one thing on top and 5 lines under it you say
you will not honour it! this is not a fair business practise at all.

And you should have not said that in your auction in the begging until you were
100% sure that you were able to provide that, you were depending on the
manufacture which I am guessing you were using drop shipper.

But that's not my problem, you should take that up with them and provide me with
what you had originally promised.

Give me the auction# and I will show you where it says the exact opposite as
well. The manufacturer forgot the battery adapters the auction was amended
hastily at the bottom to say its was NOT included.

You still did not answer my question, did your auction say the following or not?

"Includes everything! Retails $199, bidding starts at only $0.99, highest bid
wins!

Were you rude? No, just anal. “1 hr to respond” messages in the middle of the
night during holiday season…. only go to proves you don’t have a life, congrats.

Just return it for your money back if you are not satisfied. RMA#1228

See #4. eBay changed the way they handle emails, they go to nowhere… Don’t like
it, complain to eBay… they decided on the changes without informing large
sellers that user auto-responders…and if you mail service@nicheintl.com you
would receive a FAQ if your email didn’t have 1000 spam filters on it.

Threats are never a way to get solutions or the desired outcome, only responses
(usually negative ones)… think about that one. We both know who is the loser,
but since you decided on bringing it up again… Think about that on your drive
(or bus ride) back home.

Tom Gandey;

Why are you rude? was I rude to you?

Your email shows how professional person you are!

on your ebay listing http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5840523240&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 it
states the following "Includes everything! Retails $199, bidding starts at only
$0.99, highest bid wins!

Complete wireless video spy camera kit including everything you need (world's
smallest wireless color pinhole camera, wireless receiver, all required cabling,
battery adapter, 2 power adapters and instructions). Easily hidden, makes a

Can you read what is says??? "all required cabling, battery adapter" , what is
that supposed to mean?? it means you are supposed to include the battery adapter
exactly how you had originally described it.

Also, you mentioned to email service@nicheintl.com which I did several times! I
had also emailed you through the Ask a Seller a Question link and you failed to
respond!.

Now you tell me who is the loser!

I am hopping that we can solve this small matter ourselves than having other
organizations involved, I have emailed you and asked for a solution and now I am
awaiting for an answer.

  1. I bought a camera case from the company and they never sent it to me. After complaining and sending various emails to his "company" he left negative feedback saying that i left him a PO box number. i never did this. fortunely i got a refund after i threated him with a paypal refund. i guess it also helped that my grandfather is a lawer.

  2. http://www.gamblerswholesale.com/ is a huge thief! Obviosly Paypal agrees I was just awarded my money back on a color, night vision, wireless cam kit. What a piece of crap he should just state that this is a intended toy and not professional quality. The add said works 300ft line of site but in reality it only works 20ft. line of sight and then either you get a broken up picture or no picture at all! This guy is some kind of hack scam artist preying on the inocent on ebay hoping they are not smart enought to catch him. I believe his attitude is due to not breast feeding long enough while he was a baby or maybe his father molested him.

  3. I totally agree with you, no one should ever buy from this ebay seller. Since it's even worst in my case. For me the problem was that i never even recieved the item. I purchased the item on Oct. 08 '05 and i waited one whole month before starting to email them about the delay. Despite all of my email i never got even one response, so i started a dispute which im sure the seller was notified of it by ebay, but still no response. After trying for four months trying to contact them, i was left with not even one response (not even to my dispute) and losing all that i had paid for the camera and the shipping. My dispute was also cancelled after 90 days because the purchase price was $2 short from the minimum of $25 required, despite the fact that i had paid over $40 including shipping. I guess after they saw i could not take legal action through dispute they just ignored me.

Now I want to know whats the difference of this with stealing??
I hope ebay does something about this.

  5. After a long battle with another Ebay seller I would like to offer up a few suggestions. Your credit card company will do a charge back up to 90 days. It is important to check the item right away and do not use it until the problem has been fixed. In the event that the item is damaged and you can see this when it is delivered then don't sign for it and let the shipping company send it back. This way you avoid paying shipping costs back to the sender. Most important though is to FILE A CHARGE BACK!!!

  6. I also had a very negative experience with this man, aka...gamblerswholesale. The item was nothing as described or depicted. He also waited until I left my feedback, which was obviously negative, to leave negative feedback for me. My purchase was extremely quick and payment was sent immediately. He had no right to leave a negative comment saying, "Flake, F-." I can't tell you how perplexed I was!!! This man doesn't deserve business. He's the flake...lol.

  7. i can vouch for this guy, the same thing happenned to me going through the same seller. i did not get my 9v battery adapter that was clearly stated to be included in the auction, which i thought was an important piece (i mean it is a hidden camera and the battery adapter allows it to be put anyhere.)

seller did same thing, never answered emails even after a few weeks of trying to reach him, however left negative feedback within hours of me leaving feedback for him. my suggestion is to just buy from another seller, don't waste your money and time on him. hopefully this message will help someone to not get ripped off.

  8. Same thing happened to me. I won the thing for somewhere around $20, paid $35 for shipping, and then got a defective product. He was rude and unhelpful. Don't bother with Niche.

  9. I do not recommend buying from this seller!!!! You can try email or phone him until the cows come home and you will never get any replies. The only time you will get his attention is when you leave truthful negative feedback and he returns it with slander in thr form of untruthful negativ3e feedback for you?????????? He is not worth the trouble or the unneccessary negative feedback on you profile!!! Trust me he is just BAD BAD news all the way around!!!!!!!! Should be booted right off ebay!!!!

  11. Thats another thing. He has over 600 Neg. feedback and ebay does nothing to him or to help. Where is buyer protection. It cost me $80.00+, ebay will give me one dollar and twenty five cents compensation, what a joke.....

  12. ebay IS THE WORST.
    I left after three years.
I got so tired of my merchandise not showing up.
I buy on Amazon mostly, or go to various vendors on line.

Many of them bend over backwards to satisfy their customers.

I just purchased one of those Bissel carpet cleaners, recieved it in three days.
Ebay does not want to offend anyone, so they are ineffective in dealing with the bad sellers.
    Good luck.

  13. I just bought something from this guy but am now afraid to pay and get defective item and or not get anything at all! but mostly im afraid of neg. feedback! do you think if i dont send him the money or ignore him he'll give me neg feedback or only after or IF i ever leave hima neg feedback? i bought the ionic air purifier that EVERYONE that bought one from him complained about it! i guess i shoudl have checked the feedback first! but i keep thinking everyone will be as honest as i am on ebay selling! :( but its not true! there are a lot of bad people out there! but i think i will have to pretend i never won any bids from them!

  14. If, you bought something then, discovered all the negative feedback on this schmuck and are afraid to folow through, I would email Ebay with your concerns and provide a link to his feedback info.
Keep all your emails you exchange with Ebay if, you need proof to sling mud (if, no cooperation from them). I wouldn't pay a thing to this clown.

  15. I ahd won 2 auctions from this guy. He never sent his combined invoice to reflect the shipping discount so after 3 1/2 weeks I left him a message using negative feedback stating that I figured it was the only way to get his attention. Well it did, he left me very rude negative feedback in return then turned me in as non pay bidder. I turned right around and disputed it and turned him in for non producing seller. We're at a stand off eBay has not done anything as of yet and his negatives are still effecting my feedback % but I'm trying and do warn anyone else thinking of purchasing to head warnings and don't!

  18. First I would like to say this problem is not the only one when buying on EBay. Ebay should have shut this guy DOWN a LONG time ago. I have had simuliar problems with sellers and there false advertising too. I will only purchase from a seller that lets me use Paypal now because if I don't receive the item which happened with a $260.00 Jack Daniels shelf I bought and never received, Paypal refunded my money. It was up to the seller to fight with DHL, the people he paid to deliver it to get his refund. I think the driver stole the item as they had no tracking on it after the guy had picked it up, but whatever that was there problem, Paypal was there for me and I love it. You contact them even on a return they verify all information concerning the matter and if you are in the right you will be refunded. I have found that the people that cheat others on Ebay as a regular practice either sign up again using another name or have several diff. names already. It is getting REALLY hard to trust sellers and buyers on that site anymore and that again would be Ebays fault for not doing something about it. They should also make in impossible for a seller to get feedback UNTIL he puts his in because the ones that are in doubt of there services always wait to give feedback. Whenever I sold, as soon as I shipped something, I left feedback. Only once did I get a guy that left a negative, and what his claim was was not correct either so I kind of felt that he didn't like that I had 100 actual buys and sells with 100% postive feedback, and yes there are 2 sides to every feedback, but it would be nice if they contacted you first so you could resolve the matter that is why "I" always used the email from there(ebay) site so Ebay had a copy of it and I did too. People that write you directly, not using Ebays tools, usually do not want Ebay to have a copy of there correspondence. I want a paper trail as this can be a VERY risky place to buy from. I since have not bought or sold from Ebay in over a year because of the "bad" dishonest people that are selling now. You MUST ask questions no matter what they have advertized, print out all ads on the item(for proof of what they advertized)Ask specific questions like How much is shipping. One seller was selling an item for $7.50 and just said shipped usps but when I asked how much the shipping, they were charging $35.00 instead of $8.00 actual shipping on the item. Good Luck to you I know I won't be buying or selling from that site again until they clean it up.

  19. Same kinda story...bought a solar charger from him, he sent a completely different item (a remote camera, ironically comlete with 9V adapter). I contacted him without any response whatsoever, disputed through Paypal and won, and got my money back. I resold the item on eBay, see (who won now, Tom, you SOB?). He is obviously a crook.

    ReplyDelete
  20. When I tried to pay using funds I had in Paypal it would not let me in my account through his Merchant's software without giving a credit card number. He would not give me his Paypal address and wanted a money order sent to him. I told him no way. Bought elsewhere with no problem. I think there is a snake in the grass here.

  26. I bid on an item, won the auction, and promptly sent the seller an email within minutes of the auction closing. I pay only by money order, since I do not have a credit card, therefore I needed a mailing address from the seller (one was not provided).

    There was no response.

I emailed them again 24, and then 48 hours later.

    No response.

Over the next few weeks I began calling, trying to find out where the heck to send my payment- I just wanted the item! All I got was a voicemail, where I left messages (no one bothered to return my multiple calls).

I contacted Ebay, because I was desperate to get this resolved. They were of no help, so I filed a dispute. No response from the seller on this matter.

I finally gave up in frustration nearly two months later, and left a -FB because the seller completely ignored my repeated requests for information. He turned around and zapped me with a very rude and nasty -FB instead of just CONTACTING me with a friggin' mailing address! (If he'd done that in the first place, none of this would have been an issue.)

Then, the seller tried to turn me in for nonpayment, but I had emails and phone records to prove that I had made multiple efforts in good faith to contact the seller- all to no avail. Ebay dropped the matter and I haven't heard anything since.

Avoid this unethical piece of crap like the plague. I'm very lucky that the only thing this mess cost me was a malicious -FB.

  27. I am sorry to hear about all the bad experiences you guys had with this complete moron and con artist. Trust me, I have been there too with other sellers and it can turn you off eBay for good.

Out of my first 4 eBay purchases, 2 ended up bad. Luckily I have not been burned again after using the protection eBay and paypal have in place.

Thanks for this page, and for leaving negative feedbacks for this guy. You have stopped me from making a few purchases with him, and I am sure you have stopped many others from making the same mistake. I can't believe there are some who still buy from this rude crook. A brief look at his feedback has all the warning signs, and this page seals the case.

Goodluck to everyone and keep smiling! Look at this as a learning experience. Don't stop using eBay.. just choose who you deal with wisely from now on.

  29. for everyone who got an item not as described or is junk etc, especially the "facial ultrasonic massager" i got, go to "help" and then "transaction problems and protection" then "protection for buyers" then "ebay standard purchase protection program." go ALL the way down and on the bottom click on "report" listing violations. thats all, if enough people report the same item that we do then he will have to take it off ebay!

The reviewer bought a camera that was not as advertised and had a negative experience with the seller, Tom Gandey, who did not respond to emails and left a negative feedback after the buyer left one. The seller also did not provide a return address and gave rude responses. The review advises buyers to be cautious and avoid doing business with this seller. This highlights the importance of thoroughly researching sellers on eBay and reading reviews before making a purchase.
