I called UPS and spoke to Dorine, advised her that I had opened an account with UPS last week online and UPS was supposed to email me the account number the next day but they didn't.

Asked her to transfer me to the office where they open accounts and she said they don't have such office and the only thing she can do is take my info and request for an account to be opened and they won't get back to me until tomorrow!

Advised her I need the acct# today to ship, She transfered me to her manager Louise and Louise sounded very nice and polite, she said she will look into it and get back to me.

When you call UPS at 1-800-742-5877 OR 1-800-PICK-UPS , You only have 5 options and you do not have an option for accounts! Most options are only if you want to ship something or to track a package, UPS should invest in option #6 for accounts.


  1. An email has been sent to the business letting them know of this complaint.

  2. The reviewer had a frustrating experience with UPS when trying to open an account online and not receiving their account number as promised. When calling UPS, they were unable to connect with an office for opening accounts and had to request a new account to be opened. The reviewer highlighted the lack of an option for accounts when calling UPS and suggested that they should invest in option #6 for accounts.
