I ordered a Bosch dishwasher model SHE89PW75N from Tasco Appliances in Richmond Hill last July 26, 2021. And I've made the biggest mistake in doing so.

Like an ordinary purchase, I would always check the reviews from Google Business Listings of a certain company before deciding whether to buy a product with them or not. I was impressed with Tasco as it has quite a high rating of about 4/5 stars. With that impressive rating, I decided to buy the dishwasher from them. However, this experience turned out to be bad, which made me question the credibility of their reviews which may be fake or paid.

July 26, 2021 (Monday)
I called Tasco - Richmond Hill on this day and placed my order for the Bosch dishwasher. I spoke with a very nice and kind sales associate, Artour Mejloumian.

I checked the availability of the item I was looking for, and he said they have it and will arrive soon. He confirmed the earliest delivery date would be on July 29, 2021, Thursday. We agreed with the date and proceeded with the purchase.

Later this day, I received an email from Tasco to complete my payment which I made right away. From there, Artour said I would be receiving an automated call to let me know the time of delivery.

July 28, 2021 (Wednesday)
I called Tasco customer service to inquire about the delivery time as I have not been notified yet. I was informed that it would be delivered the next day between 7:45 AM to 10:45 AM. I did not agree with the delivery time because I cannot book the elevator during those hours and specifically mentioned that I can only book the elevator from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The customer representative and I agreed with the delivery time and said they would send an email to the delivery driver. I suggested for them to call the delivery driver instead because they may not see the email right away. But according to the customer service representative that I talked to, the driver can only be contacted through email.

July 29, 2021 (Thursday)
At around 6:59 AM, I was awakened by the call I received from the driver, who left a voicemail message saying that he's on his way to deliver the dishwasher and will arrive within 30 minutes.

I immediately called the driver back and advised him that I could not receive the dishwasher because I have an agreement with Tasco that the delivery time would be between 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and not earlier. He said he was not notified of the correct delivery time and that he was scheduled to deliver the dishwasher between 7:45 AM - 10:45 AM.

I advised him that it would be impossible for me to receive the item that I purchased because I CANNOT change the elevator booking time, and I do not have other means to transport it to my unit.

The driver said he could not deliver during my preferred time because he will be busy and will be making deliveries in the Bradford area on this day. Given this case, he said that I must be scheduled for another day. I politely declined, and I decided to cancel the order and request a full refund. He said that he would contact the customer service and let them know about it.

Shortly after, I received a call from Tasco's customer service apologizing. They advised me that the delivery will be done the following day. I declined this and explained we had agreed for its delivery which was 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on this day and not on the next day. I am certain of that decision.

It turns out that the agent I spoke with yesterday did not file the delivery schedule correctly. Therefore, the driver was not informed that the delivery should be from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The customer service representative offered me a delivery for the following day, ensuring the delivery time we initially agreed on. Again, I declined the offer. They offered another option to have it delivered after 2:00 PM of this day, which I declined as well. I repeatedly explained that the building elevator was booked from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. And that our building's security is very strict and will not allow the driver to enter the building premises beyond the given time.

I informed them that I am very disappointed with Tasco. I requested that this order be canceled with a full refund. The customer service representative said she would send a message to the sales agent Artour to do so.

With this experience, I would say that Tasco is not an organized company. How can Tasco improve their services? I suggest the following:

● Confirm the delivery time with their customers not a day before but from the time the order is placed.
● Inform the delivery driver using more methods such as phone call, text message, and others. They should not rely solely on email, as email is checked late sometimes, or at times it might not even be delivered and be marked as Junk Mail.

The delivery time was not confirmed properly, causing inconvenience for the customer. Tasco should confirm delivery times and use multiple communication methods with delivery drivers to ensure successful deliveries.
