Be aware of Unlicensed Plumbers & Electricians in Ontario Canada on Kijiji
There are many unlicensed plumbers and electricians on Kijiji in Ontario Canada who claim to be licensed when in-fact they are not.
Make sure you ask them to provide you with their license number prior to meeting them, then go to https://www.skilledtradesontario.ca/public-register/ to verify if they are licensed or not.
If they are not licensed then they most likely don't have any business liability insurance, and if things go wrong while they do the work or even later, you have to blame yourself if you were negligent on hiring an unlicensed trade worker.
In the comments section below, you will find many who claim to be licensed when in fact are NOT.

Matthew Divittorio also goes by the name Matt or Mat claims to be a licensed plumber however he is NOT licensed, be aware! His phone # 416-500-1852.
Beaware of John (647) 640-3379 he claims to be a licensed electrician but he’s not licensed, he is a fraud.

I bet you the person who started this thread is a license plumber and continues to lose business from other plumbers, majority of plumbers that are licensed charge more and then others, and I don't see any posts here of anyone saying they are licensed.
You can bet whatever you like, I don’t get your point, why would a licensed plumber lose business from other plumbers? It doesn’t make sense what you said.
Customers who are dumb don’t usually ask and check if the plumber is licensed, many liars are out there and customers should do their due-diligence to check if the plumber is licensed or not on the website listed above.
There are reasons why some plumbers are not licensed while some are!
Plus, non-licensed plumbers don’t have and CAN NOT have liability insurance, if a non-licensed plumber preforms work which leads to damages, the customer is on their own!
