I hate to shop at this location at night, every time I go there at night I never see a cashier standing in the self checkout area, and when I scan something and the machine gets stuck sometimes and says "please wait" because the item that I scanned is not in the system, guess what! There is no cashier to reset the machine.
Today is the last time I'm going there, I waited 15 minutes till she showed up.
Customers shouldn't have to wait, its a self checkout and it should operate fine, if they can't make it operate fine then they should have a cashier there always beside it to fix it, I should have just walked out with the items without paying.

I had the same problem, but the self checkout machines were closed. My wife and I work nights and we shop during the night also. At around 3:30am, around Halloween time we were shopping for a few things and as usual, my wife loaded up the shopping cart to the top. We waited for 10 min and no one came to cash us out...so we left...with the buggy... :P
I had a bad experience at Metro Dominion Richmond Hill Major Mac and Bayview location. The store was disorganized and messy, and the shelves were not properly stocked. I also found it difficult to locate the products that I needed, and the staff members were not very helpful when I asked for assistance.
